What free or cheap games are good to play outside of League?

I'm kinda getting burned out from League and I don't want to quit but I need a break, any suggestions? I'm currently unemployed from diabetic nueropathy and been stuck at home a fair amount from my disability and have to budget.

Minecraft (cracked)

Path Of Exile (kinda gritty diablo type game. VERY extensive skill tree system, infinite customization possibility that pretty much no other game can match up to. great game if the atmosphere doesn't put you off.)

Warframe (be a cool cyborg ninja and flip around and do parkour)

last but not least... PS2/Gamecube games... emulated... and acquired from the Internet... with the PCSX2/Dolphin emulator

Depends on your tastes. I personally enjoyed playing Star Wars the Old Republic, and Guild Wars 2 if you like MMO's. Plenty of games on Steam too. If you are worried about blowing the budget on Steam games, which is fair to fear, then check out www.humblebundle.com. It is a great site for acquiring games and helping out charities. Occasionally the store even gives out a free game. Most bundles start at a small donation of like 3 dollars if you are unsure and want to simply test the waters. Usually 15$ nets over 100$ in games (Game developers love tax write offs.) Currently the 2 game bundles they are running are for ARMA and some Civilization games.

tf2 has been really fun for me the past while. If you buy anything from the shop (cheapest is like 80 cents (U.S.)), you upgrade to premium, which includes just about everything other than hats.
