How to climb the ranked ladder?

So recently I made it out of Bronze with high hopes of smooth sailing and soft winds. To my surprise, silver is somewhat harder to climb.

I just wanted some advice on climbing silver, and what role/champion carries the hardest. I love ADC, but I feel like lower elo players don't like to support and I end up getting paired up with someone that's not good.

Thanks in advance!

The most important thing is to focus on your own game and criticise everything you do, and find yourself a support to regularly duo with if you're an ad main.

Yeah, I hate to break it to you but just about anyone will tell you that silver is worse than bronze. The skill difference between Bronze 1 and Silver 5 is virtually negligible, but the butthurt egotism is scaled up like 3-4x at least lmfao.

As for what roles to play, mid and jungle tend to have the most early-mid game influence, and you can really help snowball the game in your team's favour from those roles more so than adc, since you're not confined to farming bot lane for so long. Really though, the most important thing is to play a champion and role you're comfortable with, since you can (hypothetically) carry from any role with any champion so long as you're making good plays.

As for specific champions to carry with, just stick with whoever you're most comfortable with and that you enjoy playing.

Having a good duo partner is also really important if you're looking to climb ranks, means one less potential toxic person/feeder/troll. GL climbing and feel free to add me if you feel like duoing - Silver 2 mid/supp main here.
