@Riot Ranked Restriction Fails

Ahead of time, i'm not saying being restricted from ranked games is a bad punishment. The way to remove the punishment is horribly flawed though.

Alright so I read the Ranked Restrictions original post as i'm sure many others did and according to the feedback it got many thought it was an amazing idea, I myself agreed with it at first.

Let us get to the point without a wall of text though, it sucks. The idea is good, the way it works out sucks. The community does not treat normal mode games well enough for winning said matches to work out as a requirement. Players treat bot matches more seriously than many of the draft picks i've played. To put this in perspective a little, I was chat restricted for 60 games (I know I should've been punished, not saying otherwise) and rank restricted for 30 wins of draft pick. I finished those 60 games, most being draft pick, AGES ago and still have 10+ draft wins to go.

Here are a few images of my last draft pick. I'm not trying to say we lost cause of toxic players, I am saying there are so many in draft that it does hinder teams commonly though.

Until we have a better community I don't think needing to win draft pick matches is necessary. I would've rather had to play 60 than win 30.

If they're calculating a 50% win rate, then 30 wins would equate to 60 games.

They ask for wins, not games, to force you to actually try.

A compromise, perhaps: 60 games, 15 wins required? A 25% win rate would cause you to need to actually try, and not just afk farm all game, which is what Riot wants to avoid by instituting the win requirement. However, a monkey should also be able to win 25% of their games in nearly any format, as the skill level balances out over time, and there will be time when the opponents are worse than intro bots in addition to those players being on your team.
