Honestly, that's a pretty inconsiderate move. First ask yourself, are you offended by it personally? Then ask if you really think other people who play League would be offended. If the answer is yes to either, reporting them still helps no one. Them being banned won't stop them from being offensive, it'l just make them angry at people for not being able to understand offensive humor. Offensive humor, while seemingly bad, can actually be pretty fun and is a healthy way to show how ridiculous we think the things we are making fun of are. For example, when someone uses the N-word in a joke, I'm okay with it if it's done properly. Why? Because it showcases the fact that that person realizes how stupidly offensive the word is and that it is so stupid that it can only be said in a joke, not seriously. If you think it's not humor but they are genuinely being offensive, maybe you should stop hanging out with them. They might be bad people. Also, as a final note, you reporting them every game has made your reports mute. Riot added a system that stops people who spam reports from having an impact with their reports to stop reporting trolls.

Pff I wouldn't have someone like you as my friend. If I were OP I would just tell them in person that being toxic would get them banned and try to scare them from doing so but I wouldn't report them without them knowing.
