How do you make friends in this game?

Hey all..

So naturally I feel like this may be a dumb question to some of you but lately I've been feeling pretty lonely in league. There's so much toxicity in ranked and I never seem to be able to find anyone that actually becomes friends. It's fun to que up with people, duo, do 3's, normal's; whatever.. but I just can't seem to make any "friends".

Having reached Plat 4 I was hoping some of the toxicity would die down and it'd be easier to meet more like-minded individuals.. but I guess not. So what gives? I watch all these streamers or LoL personalities like Lily, Sky, Dunkey, Keyori.. etc; and they all seem to have tons of fun with the people they met on league.

What's the secret?
