While I wouldn't just stop, it is pretty rude that people spend their money and then not thanking them. Is it difficult to type thanks?

To be thanked is all that should be respected for a kind deed, if you want to be payed for it, it's not a kind deed it's an attempt at manipulating others, if some just wants a simple thank you, that's not asking to much, in fact it's considered common curtesy to thank someone who helps you or improves your experience on an activity without trying to get any form of actual payment for it, because typing thank you takes less than 3 seconds, is that to much time? Or go the cheap way and type TY, for less time spent, it's not hard...

Your ideal or way of thinking on this is why customer service in many places is going to crap, people no longer show gratitude and in jobs that can't take tips, it makes it feel like your wasting your time being polite. So less people act well because they feel no reason to if it won't be appreciated

If you get a good service, thank them for it, it doesn't have to be $$$, just saying thanks can make someone feel better for acting well, so they will act well again

Didn't meant to come off the wrong way, but I am just that sort of guy who appreciates other's help and would thank people for their contribution/service while on the other hand I almost never expect people to repay me in any way when I am of help to them. It's just how I do things.

I was not saying that we shouldn't thank people for their work, just don't go out expecting thank you's whenever you decide to reach your hand out.

The problem is that because people are not even saying thank you to good service or kind acts, it adventually leaves a bad taste on the repeated act but no appreciation shown it makes it feel like wasted effort, and it stops, the op friend is an example of this

if you que up in a group of 4 or more .. i can see this being a thing just to have a thing. but sometimes i just want to roll with the classic skin and then i feel pressured into using a skin now.
