Title. Still no connection other than that's what Riot decided to use for the whole "I will make you beautiful" idea.

It was titled "Mind of the Virtuoso". We saw a glimpse of what he imagines killing those champs would look like.

Sona is a competitor of sorts, she's another artist.

He also thinks that she'd just a fad and that she won't be remembered, but he will be.

Zed killed his master, but Jhin wanted to do that, so ya.

Garen because of the whole kat/garen thing I guess, star-crossed lovers theme or drama.

Vi because I don't know.

Keep in mind, I don't think Jhin is super picky about who he kills (excluding the big figures like Shen's dad), because every death is a form of beauty.

They were picked out of a hat. A connection was written from there.

Top Lane: Garen Jungle: Vi Mid lane: Zed Support: Sona ADC: Jhin

Perhaps Jhin is trying to assemble his "dream team" of champions he wants surrounding him? Just a thought.

they were pick because their deaths were the most artistic

By design, the promo is not 1 to 1 with his lore (like the jynx video). The thinking by promo team was limiting it to lore champs wouldnt be as interesting visually. BUT Jhin is aware of those champs and this is how he would like to "work"with them. (He has been planning some performances for years) That said, Jhin does have a very, very strong connection to Zed in lore and i think he is going to shine some light on post invasion Ionia.
