We shouldnt have to go to a 3rd party site to get information that should be in the client.

Going to the champion page and abilities, it should really say how much damage, the CD, and the ratios of the ability.

Well, you don't need to go to a "3rd party site" to get the information. Champions have most of their information on the League website, except for CDs for some silly reason.

But I agree, it would be nice to have some in game info in the client. I assume it hasn't been done yet just because it isn't a high priority thing.

Yes, I firmly believe in what he's saying. Nidalee's champion page says this:

Cougar: Nidalee lunges toward a target area, dealing damage to nearby enemies.

So where does she go? Does she lunge across the map? What damage does she deal, physical, magical or true? What does it scale off off? I wanna know this stuff. If I wanted to ask something about a drink, I would contact the company, not the dealers.

third party sites usually do things much faster than riot for some reason..

The sad thing is...not even on the official Champion-Page (e.g. http://gameinfo.euw.leagueoflegends.com/en/game-info/champions/ahri/) you´ll find out about the CD of a spell - you have to go to lolwiki for that.

I'd agree with this. The actual mechanical information SHOULD be accessible on the champ info pages. I like the fluff/basic descriptions, but we need the actual mechanics for any kind of real choice-education. Other than 'that champ looks kinda cool' driving you to pick someone, you're going to want to know what the heck their spells DO.
