I hate it when my main is on free week...

Before anyone proceeds further, let me say /rant

Alright, we good? We good.

So, I kinda really hate it when the champion I main is on free week. It seems every time Quinn is on free week, one or more of the following seem to happen

a: I am kicked from a lobby that I was "accidentally" accepted to because they don't believe in my ability to play Quinn from a lobby and a picture

b: The enemy/our ally has Quinn, plays her terribly, and refuses to take any advice from anyone because they are using their Lolking/mobafire guide that suggests they build fucking trailblazers smite top lane

c: (Heh, that made a smiley face) Having to force me to suffer through watching said person play horribly, knowing how to use her properly

d: Seeing people vocalize their opinions, talking shit about my main.

Overall it is a very stressful experience, and something I prefer not to deal with if at all possible. But you know, that won't be the case, as Quinn will always eventually be f2p again...

You know what Nasus says: The cycle continues...

End rant.

Thank you all for enduring that :)

Just main Yorick...problem solved.

Nasus players have an unspoken agreement to allow one-another to farm.

They will descend like gods and slaughter one-another's teams before resuming their farming.

I main Thresh. In free week you see a whole lot of Thresh players trying to make these elaborate LCS big plays when they don't even do basic stuff properly. They toss out lanterns at the worst locations and outrun the lantern's range limit thus stranding their ally. They blow their hook/flay/box combo immediately and leave nothing up to peel. They make little to no use of their passive auto boost on flay. They start with and max the hook. They don't use the lantern to gain vision in the the fog of war. And many of them use him as an ADC. Thresh is not an ADC for a reason, his DPS is horrible. And when they rush a statik shiv on him it makes my skin crawl.

Yea....not saying he's a better camp then Quinn but oh my freaken kayle he has a learning curve. And then I got a guy trying him for the first time in a ranked game. And that's the story of why quite ranked.

Now lets look at it the other way:

Lets say I would want to try a champ on free week. Lets say I go into a game and do horribly bad. Then, outta the blue, here comes the X Champion Main to flame my ass for doing bad.

Now, I have a defense for this, I want to try out this champion. I want to LEARN, but learning implies I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO. If you were the person who would give me tips and tricks, I'm ok with that, but if you basically say this:

"I MAIN X CHAMPION AND YOU FUCKIN BURN MY EYES WITH UR PLAYS"

Thats not cool. How would I learn if I get flamed for learning?

I'm caught between Veigar and Heimerdinger as my main. I don't really despise when they're on free week. I think it's funny watching people suck at them.

Everyone thinks Heimerdinger is such a brain dead champion. Ok, play him against anything ranged ever. Bye bye turrets. How about against Syndra, who can literally pick your turrets up and throw them? (Although it's quite hilarious to lane against a Syndra who doesn't know they can do that.) I'd like to see half the people who complain that Heimerdinger is brain dead play him in any of those situations and still be a useful champion.

It's funnier when Veig is free week because it's cages for days and none of them work. They'll ult a tank who has no AP (did you even read your ult?) or even better, play veigar support (you know, the champion who's sole OP brokenness is acquired by CSing.)

My feelings this week when I played Lissandra. I however, dazzled the shit out of them with my Shiny Rank 5 Mastery and Blade Queen Lissandra. I even had a mirror match and my god, I felt so dirty.

Me when I'm a Janna main and she was free the weekI decided to play adc a lot, and no one would listen to me when I said to quit fucking throwing tornado's for no reason. Hold the fuck on to them.

I main Bard. But most the people I encounter are fellow Bard mains.

Same. I literally just don't play Quinn on free week because people think I'm some kind of trash can that has a computer. Then I cry inside at all the people playing her terribly.

I main Singed and it kills me when opposing ones build tear on him. People need to know that building into Singed's passive is a waste of time because its shit and should just get 2 dorans rings for their mana and rush usually into a Rylais which is Singed's powerspike.

Mildly off-topic, but since Quinn is your main, any advice? It seems like a few of my friends really like her, but I haven't got the hang of her yet. Maybe it's because I kept trying to play her in a duo lane with it seems like she's being played as a solo laner/jungler more nowadays?

You could only play ranked, that would solve the issues!
