The Unorthodox Unicorn (New meta Raka)
TL;DR: Skip to bottom for some weird Raka team comps
One day I'll get a red post but in the meantime I would like to throw out some ideas and have a discussion about Soraka, not the rework but the current Soraka.
I've been playing since S1 and never really enjoyed playing Soraka... she was boring to me all you do is cast heal + give mana, it didn't really feel that exciting. It wasn't until recently that I started thinking more and more about Soraka's kit, partly because whenever I saw her in pro games it was always in a "cheese" strat and eventually just got her nerfed. Then they changed the way her Q worked so it wasn't so good for solo lane but now it reduces the cooldown on your heal with each champion hit. This change alone made her a support that scaled really well with items, once she gets a crucible + rylais she becomes pretty godly in team fights.
Now this is all going away but before it does I would like to share some "cheese strats" of my own with Support Soraka that hopefully you can all get a chance to try before she gets reworked because a lot of this probably won't work after although some of it might like running double healers bot lane, which by the way I really wonder if that will be balanced with the new Raka.
