Elise's Rappel should work on self cast
Instead of, or in addition to, ground cast. It's a lot easier and more intuitive to press alt-E than to target the ground.

I at least agree that it should be smoother. I smart cast it on ground sometimes and it doesn't go.
Absolutely! This would make it MUCH easier to avoid clicking on something when simply trying to cancel the rappel early.
And seeing as it's just an ADDITIONAL option it shouldn't interfere with current play-styles
