(Beta Client) Black Screen in Champ Select bug - Please read if you are experiencing this
Hot Issue - Black Screen During Champion Select (Beta client)
Our good friend Porocles on the Help & Support board posted some information on the bug earlier, but I'd like to bring a little more exposure to it since H&S isn't frequented by most. Please visit the original post linked above, and I'll copy the content here for convenience;
Hey guys,
We've received reports that some players are seeing a black screen in champion select since patch 7.4. Normally, black screens tend to be connection related but this specific circumstance is a bug.
We're currently requesting logs to further investigate and pump out a fix faster! You can find the log files by following this path:
*C:\Riot Games\Logs\LeagueClient Logs*
In that folder, you'll want to provide the following log file types: a. LeagueClient.log b. LeagueClientUx.log
Attach them to a support ticket and send it our way!
In the meantime, a reinstall may serve as a temporary workaround. You can also download our hextech repair tool to make that a bit easier.
We'll post here with any further info and updates!
