Can we get more rewards for champion mastery?

When the champion mastery update came out I was really excited, I like goals and leveling up, things like that. After 5 though, which isn't hard to get at all, you don't get anything really except the emote and the icon on the loading screen.

There's some really cool ideas that could go along with this but Riot just kinda dropped it, and I don't know why.

Do you guys have any ideas or Riot is there any plans in the near future for champion mastery?

They have plans for it, but they need to make good rewards first.

Thanks in advance. ** We do have a plan to add new levels at some point but we want to turn that on when we have some rewards to help them feel more impactful. This isn't a "someday, maybe" thing. It's in the works.
