I never said it gives them the right, I said it doesn't make them any less important if you actually read my post. If you want to go by real life logic then you are allowed to voice your opinion due because of freedom of speech which in this game you don't even have to talk in chat to get reported. You can simply play a champ someone didn't want you to, Steal a kill, or just be better than the other team and they will report you.
Sure, you are allowed to voice your opinion, but there's a difference between voicing your opinion and being toxic. I've never seen anyone get banned from reports stemming from the reasons you've put. I, myself, have been reported (at least, the people claimed they reported me) and a warning is all I ever saw.
If I donated half a million dollars to that amusement park I will bet you I will get away with a lot more than the average person.
This is actually true, and it's sad that it is. Fortunately, not everything works like that.
Getting mad is part of gaming, every game allows you to say how you feel or what you want as long as it's not racism or direct threats. Take wow for example, you can say pretty much w/e you want.. "You Suck" Unistall" "Noob" etc and not be punished for it and they have a less toxic community than league does.
Sure, I'll concede that getting mad is part of gaming, especially competitive gaming. But this isn't WoW, and this isn't Blizzard. Different games have different rules. Just because one game allows one thing doesn't mean every game does. Try saying "you suck" or "noob" in a Disney mmo and see how long your account lasts.
I'm so sick of that excuse "LOL is FREE 2 PLAY" You don't Have to pay .... Yea but if players didn't spend money and invest in their game their game wouldn't exist now would it? Why do you think they have law suits for companies who hire you? Just because they pay you doesn't give them a right to treat you like crap.. Riot apparently has no laws or rules to follow so they can take your money, ban you for any reason and that's it. Seems fair right? or more like communism?.
There is no difference between those that pay and those that don't. If a person is completely toxic, they get warned, restricted, banned, and permabanned like everyone else. I can guarantee that Riot is doing just fine without those that are banned. It doesn't matter that they "helped them get to where they are". They continually broke the rules and are now paying the price. If someone never learned their lesson all the way up to a permaban, they are never going to learn their lesson anyway. They don't ban for "any reason". And they are pretty quick to appeal a ban if it was unjustified.
You get people on the forum claiming they were unjustly banned, then a red comes on and tells them why they were banned and suddenly you have the banned saying things like, "but we were losing!" Yeah, you were losing, so you had to tell someone already having a bad game to kill themselves and they you hope they get cancer or something.
Being like that in one game should be enough for a ban, in my opinion, but Riot doesn't ban on the first offense. The most you would get is a chat restriction, if anything.
Toxic or not all players who invest time and spend are equally important to Riots success rather you are in Denial about it or not.
Not in denial at all. Sure, those that are toxic have helped the game get to where it is. You know what's a really good way to continue that success and get more new customers? Getting rid of the toxic people. It's a common business practice for companies to cut off parts that push customers away. Ruthless? Sure, but it works.
I bet more toxic people spend more money than none toxic people and that is because people who are toxic are most the time more addicted to the game and care while people who just don't give a crap make them toxic and contribute nothing.
I'm just going to go ahead and call bullshit on this.
