Riot's service that helps protect against DDOS is itself being DDOS'd.
Basically, Cloudflare not only helps Riot but also multiple bitcoin exchanges
Basically, money involved. And if you look a little more into it, three's evidence that Cloudflare has been getting DDOS'd for at least a week.
