Honestly
I think a Shurima based Zilean skin would look better and a blood-moon fiddlesticks skin would suit him better. That's just my opinion though

it seems to me that they just gave Zilean a new skins because he needs a new one and just gave him something random. it doesnt fit him at all even as something that "could have been" or a different perspective on the champion. i really wish they took skin themes much more seriously than just giving it to champions who need a new skin!
The theme might fit better, but have you seen BM Zil? It's pretty sick. He has a Shurima skin already anyway.

Actually, Zilean already has a Shurima skin. It's been out for years.
