Aight so about Hextech Crafting and RNG on getting Keys

Alrighty,well reguardless of what Riot has said about the randomness of key drops, i still dont believe that. I have noticed that there is about a .000001% chance of getting keys while you are OUT OF CRATES TO UNLOCK. I can understand this as getting keys with no crates means riot loses $$$ but if thats the case then plesae just tell us "Once you have unlocked all crates, you can not unlock keys until you have an available crate" Would be much easier. ^_^

P.S. If im 100% wrong on this, plesae give me LEGITAMATE evidence against this theory. K thx.

Key drop rates are NOT linear and only wins have a chance of dropping a key. So you will earn key fragments much faster in your earlier wins than you will in your later wins. Or said another way, each incremental key fragment drop is harder than the last (on average... there is variance). This resets on a monthly basis for each player individually. The goal is to create a nice ebb and flow.

Grade does NOT impact key drop chance.

Premades DO increase drop chance.

**Chests earned has no impact on key drop chance. **

There is variance and randomness (with limits). It's unlikely that what happened to your friend will happen to you.

Hmmm, maybe you should avoid unlocking crates as soon as you get the key for them, and save up until you just have a load of keys and can unlock all at once...
