to talk about how broken volibear and other bullcrap tanks are
Volibear is a fighter, not a tank. This is because his threat to the enemy team is primarily damage-oriented and not CC/utility-oriented. He's rather like Mundo in that regard.
Im very curious why in almighty Earth you allow a champ to build full tank with 6000 health to continue 1 shot bitting someone.
At 6000 health, his max-rank Frenzy bit will deal between:
- Minimum Damage: (260 + 0.15 *(6000 - 2046)) = 853.1
- Maximum Damage: (520 + 0.3 * (6000 - 2046)) = 1706.2
Even ignoring base armor, Volibear's bite will not "one-shot" any champion in the game, even the squishist of them. This remains true even if you are generous enough to let him deal its maximum damage against a full-health target.
Realistically, a squishy champion without armor would have to be in the ~50% health range to be one-shot by bite with 0 armor. Considering Volibear doesn't build armor penetration/reduction and every champion starts with base armor (and would be ~80 or higher at max level, near halving the damage taken), you are horribly exaggerating.
6k health already wins you the game
Percentage health damage exists and if Volibear has stacked enough health items to reach 6000 Health, he's going to have rather low armor and MR. Percentage health damage abilities and items will tear through him. BoRK alone would deal an additional 180 health per hit when Volibear is at half health.
but 6k health with a free execute?
Nothing in a champion's kit is free. Everything in their kit has been factored in when determining the champion's power-budget.
If any ability in the game is considered "free", then by definition every ability in the game is free.
Someone wanna tell me whats fair about that BS?
Volibear has no dash or blink. As such, he relies on a movement speed buff to reach important targets and he can be quite easy to peel if someone is kiting backwards competently.
