My Issue with Dynamic queue

So with Riots post about dynamic queue, and how solo queue is not coming back, I would like to toss my 2 cents in. I have friends to play with. All around my skill level. This however never happens because they are all better friends with each other, so I never get in the five man group. I also suffer from the curse of a mid support main. Apparently there is a 16% chance of getting mid, which I like more. I am also very competitive, which makes this sad for me. I was a higher rating than almost all of my friends, but now they are higher than I am. I know that I am better than some of them, and I think the only reason that they are a higher rank is that they are ranking with a diamond up to plat. I was plat last season, gold 2 now, but I have no motivation to play league what-so ever. I have new games to play. These are just my experiences, before I didn't have the reminder that I am a lesser friend, or get the chat message "sorry five" and if I did, it was normal, or I couldn't duo because I was 2 leagues above, and I didn't care.
