Do people still play Darius?

I recently bought , the dunkmaster himself, and I realized that I kinda stopped seeing him in any and all games. Maybe I'm just not used to the raw power in his kit, especially laning, but he seems VERY strong to me. Has there been any item/balance changes to nerf him, or is it just a meta shift? Or is he still played a lot and I just haven't seen him?

He's very rarely played because of the meta shift. I personally don't play him because I main garen and I feel like I betray him each time I use darius
