The Void

Let's theorize about the Void, it's inhabitants and so on.

The 4 known Voidborns are Kha'Zix, Vel'Koz, Cho'Gath and Kog'Maw.

They all have a hunger of some sort, be it food, destruction, knowledge or all of the above.

Most of them seem to be intelligent, Vel'Koz in particular. Cho'Gath's lore also states that he is intelligent.

I would rank their intelligence as follows: Vel'Koz > Cho'Gatj > Kha'Zix > Kog'Maw.

One of Kog'Maw's quotes is "Terror coming... Daddy Coming". Cho'Gath's title is The Terror of the Void. So does this mean that Cho'Gath is Kog'Maws father or related to him perhaps?

When Vel'Koz was being developed someone asked if Vel'Koz is Kog'Maw's father. Riot said he isn't but he knows him. In what capacity is the question.

Another question would be how is Void society functions. We have established that there are families meaning they breed. That also means female Void born. Are there castes perhaps?

And are Malzahars Voidlings baby Voidborn or just little pests he summons as cannon fodder?

I think the Void is like a purple version of the voodoo jungle on steroids. Everything is trying to kill you, you will get random void diseases that cause crazy things such as melting faces or growing extra limbs. Only champs who are really tough or happen to be acclimated to the Void can survive.

You may have seen the Void Fizz skin, where his ultimate throws a baby vel'koz and summons a giant void fish monster. This implies that Vel'koz is not unique to the Void. Considering we've already seen a second "species" (voidlings), I would like to speculate that each void monster is actually just an impressive member of their own species (Vel'koz is the smartest of the tentacle eyeball dudes, kha'zix is the best at acclimating to his environment). There are fewer of them than people in the League because traveling is very difficult. They likely have a society segregated based on race.

As far as kog'maw goes, I think it would be really cool if its dad were huge. Like Nashor-sized. A huge alpha void monster that spits out babies from time to time.

Malzahar once stole Kassadin's daughter and sent her, alive, her to the void. Although this was done partially to show people about the void, that can't have been the only reason. This means that the void has some use for a human female like her.

We never learned anything else about her, so we don't know what that use is.

I'm gonna guess that Kassadin is the "peacekeeper" of the void, as he is a judge insert long explanation here. As I recall, Kass wasn't always a member of the void, he was dragged into it. Him and Malz are the only two human(ish) things from the void making me think that the void is more along the lines of a place of power (getting into some Syndra sh*t here). Maybe making Syndra Kass' daughter. maybe
