I'd rather not have a border at all than have one with those division markers. You've mentioned in the past if I get a two week ban or get boosted I'll lose the rewards, is that going to be my only option to get rid of that border?

Design wise, I think that Silver and Gold are fine, something is very wrong with Plat (rusty copper division?), Diamond got demoted, and Challenger/Master are ignoring the design principles the other borders use.

Its already been said that these are just placeholders for the pbe to test out distribution.

That's good to know, but it still implies they want to continue with a division marker of some sort.

They mostly likely won't be doing the division marker. That was actually addressed back when they first put out the season rewards. Someone mentioned it might breed toxicity and a rioter agreed and said he would bring it up to the team. I agree though, division markers will only aide or ostracize people, even within the same division.
