Dear Singed players, if you planned on proxying people, do it on your own enemy laner's lane only

I was playing Nasus vs this Singed guy, who just started proxying my lane in my own base. I do know that I'd probably get triggered by this, but considering the fact that majority of Singed players plays like this, I'll let his action slip.

The one thing I don't get is, why are you proxying all 3 lanes? Here is why that's a bad thing:

  1. You're doing it in my own base, getting yourself a seriously high chance of feeding.

  2. You've just negated your other two lanes a ton of minions, making them starve out of gold.

  3. In the end, you've just made my team being ahead of gold & manage to feed out your laners.

So the next time you want to proxy, do it on your own enemy laner's lane only. Don't risk your laner's minions due to your own selfishness.

  1. If the Singed is remotely competent, he'll know when to get out and not die, and hopefully waste your guys' time.

  2. Other lanes no longer have any worry of lanes pushing into their turret. Easy Roaming. Also Top Lane has to lose minions by going back or roaming himself, and jungler will probably be dealing with singed in the base. TAKE. OBJECTIVES. It's Mid's fault if he's standing in the middle of the lane doing nothing while bot lane is being pushed to their turret.

  3. I mean sure if the Singed kept dying to your team or the Singed's team failed to capitalize on his pressure.

Generally, the idea is map pressure. When 2 or 3 lanes are being cleared, your team cannot actually take objectives without the enemy's minions dying to your tower (and damaging it).

  • If they decide to take Dragon or Baron, you will lose tower health and gold/experience trying to stop them.

  • If they group in one lane to take a tower, you can't leave the other two lanes undefended (giving them a numeric advantage).

  • If you manage to beat the enemy team in a fight, you have no minions available to take towers.

By the time Singed is proxy farming inside of your base, he is generally strong enough that you can't just kill him with one person. You will likely need two or three people on him to actually kill him and he still stands a good chance of escaping your base. Even if you do kill him, he wasted your time while you lost pressure elsewhere on the map and his team takes objectives with their numeric advantage.
