[Scam Awareness] Don't be a victim. "Free RP" sites are not run or endorsed by Riot and are scams.

You know what kind of sites I'm talking about (do not link them even to spread awareness, because spreading it around does more harm than good).

They are scams. They sound too good to be true precisely because they aren't true. They want you to fill out surveys, or spread their links, or sometimes even input your email or account info. Don't even try it.

If you even remotely suspect an offer being a scam, google it. It takes 5 seconds and you'll probably get a bunch of hits that verify they are trying to fleece you in one way or another.

Anytime you ever see someone linking these on the forums, immediately report it. You might also want to reply to the person and tell them they are getting scammed so that they don't make it any worse and can change passwords if necessary.
