When RIOT forces you to quit League of Legends

I just got a 2 week suspension from RIOT due to excessive language. How is 2 weeks going to change my behavior? i always BM that's who i am. what is 2 weeks going to teach me? After pouring over 200 dollars in Riot points i thought i would get fair punishments for my verbal abuse, i would get chat limitations, that's fair and fine. I would get ranked match limitations, hey that's fine and fair. im normally a bm player, 50/50. but all of a sudden you take me away from this game for 2 weeks? i guess RIOT doesent want my money anymore, and im never going to touch this game again, i feel ashamed and betrayed. and dont be a fool like i was and spending on RIOT points, what a waste of money that was. Go outside, socialize, build skills rather than pouring blood, sweat, and tears for this game, especially over 200 bucks.

EDIT: also since you have told us you won't reform your current behavior, (the point of these bans) then if continue this track, you will eventually be perma banned anyways.

i agree with you... riot should ban you permanently since you even describe yourself as a toxic player.....

in fact, if you see this as a normal behavior even if you know it is against the rules, why not ban yourself? just stop playing if you are unable to be .... if not nice... then at least respectful... or just even quiet

If you get a 2 week suspension that means your behaviour was poor enough to warrant a permanent suspension but they are giving you one more chance to change. I believe anyone can change if they put their minds to it, so I hope you reconsider you behaviour and try again with a fresh mind.

Your money doesn't influence a damn thing. They're backed by Tencent, they can afford to lose $200. If you willfully abuse people and justify it with "that's just who I am," then they won't bother with restrictions, because you clearly have no intent to reform. They'll just be rid of you.

bm is nature, everyone bm's , if riot weeded out all bm'ers they would lose millions, however, fair punishment wont make you quit League of legends, and 2 week suspension means ima go play dota 2 or heroes of the storm, good bye RIOT i was loyal, and you betrayed me

Riot didn't force you to quit at all. If you're quitting, then you're doing so out of your own free will.

Also, spending money on their game means absolutely nothing when it comes to punishments. I mean, did you seriously expect Riot to say something along the lines of, "Oh hey, this guy gave us money, we shouldn't ban this guy at all, no matter what he does"? Well, that's not what they do. It doesn't matter how much you spend, you still don't get to act like an asshole without receiving the proper consequences.

This isn't cruel and unusual punishment. You acted like an asshole, you got punished accordingly. Besides, you say that a 2 week ban wouldn't get you to change your behavior at all, so I highly doubt chat restrictions and ranked game restrictions would teach you a lesson and get you to change either.

Also, Riot didn't betray you at all. Riot didn't make any agreement that if you payed them money, they would make punishments lighter for you. Technically you betrayed them. Before you even played this game, you clicked "Accept" to the ToU, and you did the same thing for every patch there was after you started playing. Well, in the ToU, there's a Code of Conduct that you agreed to. You agreed to follow it, and you didn't, hence you betrayed Riot.

Of course, a lot of people, possibly even everyone, has broken that at some point. I know I have. However, you broke the agreement to an extent that most people don't, which is why Riot banned you.

I don't think you have the ability to understand....Like I am not trying to be a smart ass here I just don't think you have the mental fortitude to comprehend any of the common sense logic that is being presented to you. I can't even hate you for it because this mind set is in every sense of the word sick, And in need of help. I am so sorry that you have to live with yourself as is because be it inside the game or out I have this feeling you are still over all the same person.

Maybe you'll get a permanent ban and actually change your behavior, because clearly a suspension isn't doing anything to make you a better person.

By the way, if your punishment was an immediate suspension and not a chat restriction as a warning, you've been reported enough times and deemed a bad case, so your case was escalated to receive a more severe punishment. You DO deserve what you got, whether you think so or not.

You know what it teaches you ? pause a moment and think OP ... don't be an Ass.. it doesn't matter how much $ you spend because I know you have other accounts that spend cash money...Wow OMFG 2 weeks...get real and tell the truth you are still playing the game just on another account you spent money on..Just admit this much :)
