What is a champion you fell out of love with

We all have those champions we loved, be it our first, or maybe from our first penta kill. Have you just forgotten about them? Why did you move on from them?

Like my first favorite was mordekaiser, but I hardly play him anymore, im not sure when the change happened but those times in ARAM when I play him feels like a part of me that came alive again even for that brief game. But im not too keen on playing him on the rift since I now feel more comfortable with other champions

I used to spam that honey against bots ALL day long, farming those E A S Y pentakills and getting called a cheater by my teammates. But when I was ready to finally play against people, I got S M A S H E D a ton of times by Annie , who, at the time used to be the weakest champion in the game, atleast that's what I thought because she was tiny and cute. I know right, the irony. :') Anyway, I started to understand that she required actual skill rather than blindly q e w r'ing anyone to be succesful, so I decided to pick up easier champs who were ranged and less easy to abuse early in lane.

Katarina man, 5 pentas in 1 game, 1 triple in every game I've ever played with her, my true carry skills were shown, from carrying a heavy team from like 3-30 to 43-30, i literally had over 40 kills. Her damage is so weak now it's not even funny.

Poppy I played a ton of ap poppy she was the first champ I ever bought she gave me alot of things in life. More determination in what I believe to what others may think or say. A desire to be a blacksmith learning how to create and forge and really just how she reminds me of me.

I think she is still a great champion, but that feeling of honor and respect for family where she slaughters those in her path like death metal yordle she is haha :) rip ap pops

Heimerdinger

Back when I first picked up League, Heimer was one of the first champs I bought. (Could have been the first, I'm not sure) Anyway, would laugh and smile and everything while playing him, and had so much fun... but now he's just kind of dull.

The one that comes to mind here the most is definitely Cassiopeia. I used to love her because she was something that could out-damage everyone on the team if left unchecked. Then, I realized how bad she was in terms of what she did. Other mages do her job better, with a much more forgiving kit.

Janna Poke/shield supports aren't very good atm. Yeah she has CC but thats it really. Tanks are being praised (no problem with it because i like to play tanks) but it seems like there is too much bad you can do that would outweigh the good.

Gnar is the greatest. He's super viable in all metas, incredibly variable in build, and can make huge plays or just generally annoy the enemy. He can do everything and still look absolutely adorable.

Pre-rework he sucked, but was sooo much fun. His ult was one of the most hilarious abilities ever, and people freaking out when he would go super RNG and not die, just because people didn't even know what his passive did.

Then post rework, no traditional skin to my frustration, but he was surprisingly even more fun to play. Screaming minions at people, a shield bomb that you could actually detonate unlike the 4s one pre-rework, and dropping the beat all over fools.

4 patches of nerfs later and he just isn't fun anymore. His E feels weak, his W makes me feel like I'm lagging and is almost impossible to detonate again. It's frustrating.

He was my most played champ for a while, but I just don't enjoy him anymore. Bright side, the nerfs killed his jungling which was the point of them all, so yay, I guess.

I played Ekko a ton on release, even after his first round of nerfs. They just kept nerfing him out of viability, especially as an AP mid. The biggest thing for me, as dumb as it sounds, was the 25 range loss on his ult. I swear, it's caused me to miss my ult more then I'd like to admit.

I feel really bad about leaving goat-lady Soraka by the wayside as she's the first champion I ever bought. I don't really play her much as support anymore though. It's not necessarily because I don't like playing as her, but after I started playing Nami frequently I figured that I have more fun playing as someone who can land stuns more easily, do damage AND heal, than as a champion that's essentially a healbot.

I usually end up picking Sona when I get a matchup that's not favorable for Nami, or Taric if we need a tanky support. I really should play Soraka more often.

Elise was a champion i used to enjoy greatly in her earlier days, but she's just started feeling weaker and weaker, and i haven't played her in a long time.

I fell out of love with Ezreal once after he sacrificed me in order to get a double kill. But then I saw how beautiful and majestic his hair was and I immediately wanted to touch it. We've been together ever since.

Ahri ... Extremely team reliant to carry a game. It doesn't matter how good you are, how fed you are, if your bot lane lost, Ahri will not carry the game. I feel completely irrelevant playing as her, not to mention she takes about 50x more skill to play than most meta mids right now.
