Just thinking about an idea to let people coach their friends by being able to spectate their games in real-time. The coach would only be able to see what the player can see (maybe locked camera as well?). I think it'd be a great idea to let established players help out their newer friends and, of course, enhance the community like Riot always strives for.
I'm also wondering. has this ever been considered/talked about officially?
not a good idea for a few reason. the main reason overall is that it could be abused. i would be able to tell someone in bronze what to do to win each game i'm watching and that wouldn't even be teaching, more of me being aware for them. the system right now with the 3 minute delay is fine, someone can watch and point out the mistakes so that the person can learn from them and not do them next time.

I mean, if you have a decent computer, you can just switch it over to windowed mode and share your screen on skype. I know some computers destroy the window in that mode but mine just add's a tony blue border around the edges so it's at least possible to do that and still have it be convenient.
there is a delay with streaming that twitch added. you do have a point that they wouldn't become diamond just like that, but it would be a bit much. also with duo Q, they took away the ability of people playing together from two tier difference. I believe it's more helpful explaining afterwards so they can understand what they should have done and take it in instead of listen right there and then and keep having to focus on the game.
it's not too bad of an idea really, but if I can warn someone of ganks because of no delay, it can be a problem, and I often know just from how people are acting in lane, which would mean I could tell the person when to go in and when they are getting ganked.
