Does Anyone Consider This Game Hard?

Reason why I ask this is because I think a lot of people are just horrible League players because they are lazy, and lack common sense. I played 2 games with my friend the other day, and my friend hasn't played League in like 4 months, and he played the new Ekko, and carried both games, yet we still lost because people fed hard aside from me.

Like I am not trying to brag, or complain, but I am rather just curious and wondering. Does anyone here really find League a hard game? Because there has to be an explanation for the large masses of terrible players. Would you say that this game is more based off of common sense, critical thinking, and actually wanting to read and learn about the champions? That doesn't then make the game hard, doss it?

I am really trying to understand how people I know players that don't play often, don't have a large champ pool, but still do better than most people in most games. Like I seriously am starting to think that most people are just lazy and don't want to learn and get better at the game. This really shouldn't be happening that a player coming back to the game, who isn't a very high elo at all either, plays a new champion and does better than the whole team. The only thing left for me to fall back on is that it's common sense, critical thinking, and knowing champions is what really wins you games.

What are your thoughts? Do you consider the game hard? Any explanation? Am really curious.

EDIT: And before anyone says, everyone has bad games, everyone has bad days, sure I get that. But 2 games in a row, where 6 people had bad games, or days?

EDIT 2: Perhaps the game is more focused on who makes the most mistakes? I mean again, that's back to thinking, common sense, learning right?

The game is certainly difficult for beginners to the MOBA genre, I'd say.

But keep in mind that some people aren't necessarily bad, they just get stomped by people who are significantly better. Everyone has that game where they carried, and that game where they fed like hell.

I wouldn't say the game isn't overly difficult, although there is a lot to learn and you need to practice. However, I do think it might be harder for some players to dive in and learn the facets of the game in order to continually improve.

This is especially apparent when they are use to winning at lower levels or getting carried. They perceive the victories as a reflection of game knowledge and skill and don't fix the mistakes they are making that have not yet been exploited. Others will simply look up counters and builds or the FOTM without taking the time to learn the champion and figure out what works best for them.

Additionally, there are those who treat this game like Call of Duty, trying to get the most kills and have the best KDA but failing to play the map pressure game and take objectives. Just yesterday I played as a support Janna/Ashe against a Vayne/Bard combo. I will be honest this vayne was skilled, and they were winning the lane. However they focused to much on bot lane and all we had to do was stall them while their team lost multiple objectives. She was a skilled player mechanically, but she focused too much on kills and lost to game because of it.

No. But proficiency is not the same as mastery. Mastering the game is extremely difficult due to the variety and depth of strategies.
