I am diamond 1 99 LP (thanks for the 99 riot) I just played a game against 4 masters who's LP were: 423, 90 249, 193, and one diamond 1 100LP. For a total of 956 LP higher + the masters promo. Can someone please explain to me why I am losing 28 points but only winning 15? http://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=bigninjahwang not even lying either. its the 38 minute defeat, I played alistar. Like I understand I have high rated players on my team. But why should I lose a ton of points if they can't carry me? I can't beat players who are 900+ LP higher than me, nor should I be losing 2 wins worth of LP for it. I also understand this is preseason, but is season 6 going to be this unfair?

UPDATE: just won a game +14 against all the same ranks and MMR as me. So I win against people the same skill as me. I get +14. I lose to people who have 900+ LP higher than me and I lose -28. CAN I GET A KAPPA PLEASE?

? LP difference is not how your LP gains are calculated. It's based on MMR. You can have a lower MMR than another person and have a higher rank than them.

LP system has never made much sense to me. LP distribution seems to be randomly calculated.
