Why do people bully me for being Teemo?

I thought it was a joke when people bash teemo, I never bashed a teemo nor had any problems laning against teemo, but recently I decided to try him, and in 3 games I'm getting all this personal hate. I'm pretty much being bullied, I usually win lane with other champions, but when I'm winning lane with teemo, they start spewing toxicity at me, personally.

"You have no skill" "!@#$ you teemo" etc.

Should I even report these people? Since so many hate teemo (and apparently the player behind him) i've been threatened with being reported...for doing nothing that constitutes a report.

Is it because of the really low skill cap? Should I just stop playing teemo?

I main Teemo and I receive the hate too. I think it's because Teemo is known as a troll champion and people just assume that whoever chooses Teemo will troll, which is unfair to players who like playing as Teemo seriously.

I suggest not playing Teemo in ranked games because the hate for Teemo there is ten-fold. But it doesn't stop me from picking him just to see who's toxic in my team (then change him for the one hat I really wanted to use). XD

It's up to you. Can you handle the occasional hate?

its a running joke that people take to far
hes extremely EXTREMELY annoying to lane against, and he does so much fking damage through out all parts of the game + you can never catch him if you lack constant or hard cc + that blind.

It's because a Teemo is usually the most BS champion in the game to lane against, and then one of the worst champions late game on a team. So NO-ONE likes having a Teemo in game.

The hate isn't deserved but, if the only player that likes Teemo is the guy playing him, that's 9 other playres that don't like him. Every. Time.

Well for starters and my personal reason, With oracles elixir gone his ult is broken as hell. Oh I have about 300 ap? Here take about 1000 DAMAGE EVERY 3 STEPS. Even a team with 5 Oracle's Len's can't clear the entire forest of mushrooms, and assuming the enemy has akali or someone stealthy, you can't risk using all of them at one time.

The other reason being his Passive. Global Taunt.

A lot of Teemo players pretty much play by themselves the whole game. They also don't bring what most teams need in a top laner. I see a ton of really bad teemos in placement matches, which makes me hate him even more.

It is because the people cant handle that you are doing better then them because they always lose against teemo and think you are bad but teemo is actually a champ that requires skill because you have to know when to blind in a team fight and when to run due to your squishynes he does good against master yi due to teemo staying near his shrooms and then when yi alpha strikes run into your shroom so it procs on him then just autoattack him and q and a second auto attack not very hard and to awnser more questions i am threatened for feeding when i get killed as teemo even in a team fight
