BeatzBoyFTW1 votesBack around 2014, Riot used to release the Beta version of Summoner's Rift new map, and I still vividly remembered how many "NEW SR MAP SUCKS! KEEP THE OLD ONE!" hate threads I've seen back in the days. After it's official release, despite the fact that majority still wants the old one back, Riot didn't really cared for it, and just waited til the QQ hype is dead.
So technically, now we have those who most likely hated the Beta client & wanted to keep the legacy client instead, and so the cycle continues.
Deep Terror Nami2 votesI was around for the SR map transition and I don't recall any fuss about the update. I believe that most concerns about the new client are those for features which are still being worked on and bugs that will be worked out before the official release.

And I'm guessing that besides the bugs & unreleased features, others has issues about the missing function of minimizing the Friend List box & some wanting the old style of chat box instead of the minimized square.
