I still don't understand how the remake functions at all

I've said from my previous threads that I kept getting crashes whenever I start a game, and last game, after I managed to reconnect to the game, I've found out that it's been 13 minutes & my team said that they can't remake at all despite me never being in the Loading Screen with them.

After I've discussed with my teammates why, they explained that one of my teammate got killed by the enemy before the 3 minute mark, which procced the system from preventing to remake the game.

So can anyone explain to me in depth of how this remake works? I thought if WE get first blood when our teammate is DC, then the remake shouldn't work, not the other way around?
