If a Bronze says that he hates Riven, what's your first response to him?

But if Faker, Hai, Darshan, Bjergson or any other pro players said they also hate Riven, what's your first response to them?

If you do not have the same responses on both sides, you are a horrible & "elo-racist" person.

Let the psychology test begin.....

Whenever someone in low elo makes the same statement as someone in higher elo, usually the higher elo person is the one that actually understands the reasoning behind the statement. Someone in higher Elo might have issues with Quinns ability to rotate and clear side waves before any other champion even with TP while a lower Elo player might also say they don't like Quinn because they get bullied in lane or don't know how to deal with the blind.

Well to be fair, when two different people complain about the same thing, even in the same Elo-tier, they usually do it for different reasons. However comparing a Bronze to a Master or Challenger tier in terms of why'd they complain, I'd figure it's Bronze: "RIVENS SO STRONK OP BETTER NERF IRELIA" Challenger: "I hate how hard it is to lane against her unless you pick one of her few counterpicks"

No matter what Riot or anyone says, Riven doesn't have as many counters as they say. Even with kite or hard CC, sometimes, you just find a really good Riven. plez boxbox don't do it im sorry i cri

There is 1 answer to both levels of people.

Claiming a champion is OP is useless and cripples your opportunity for improvement. Nothing is perfectly balanced. Real life generals who lead real humans into life or death situations would be envious of how fair your battle is when compared to theirs. Even if it's not "X is OP", even in your case of, "I hate X" (usually paired together honestly) it's pointless, you learn nothing. Here's a list of things you're NOT entitled to in League of Legends: -Being able to stomp lane -Being able to go even in lane -Being able to CS without being hurt -Not getting ganked -Receive ganks -Kill your lane opponent -Apply more pressure than your lane opponent at face value

Here is what you ARE entitled to: -An opportunity to learn and adjust your gameplay in the most reasonable, logical, and mathematically superior approach in order to maximize how effective you can be.

In other words, stop bitching, and learn to play from behind. Learn to play against impossible matchups. Learn to learn. Once you are able to learn, you will climb elo at rocket-like speeds.

I love your rhetorical question. It really made me think...I would say the same thing to both since I try to be flexible enough to put myself in others' shoes.

If you do not have the same responses on both sides, you are a **horrible **& "elo-racist" person.

Those are very extreme words. I wouldn't say someone is horrible because of that...I would say they are naive. Also "elo-racist" could be simply worded as: discriminatory

I just ask why

Crett3/6/2016, 3:38:32 AM2 votes

"Makes sense, she's a really obnoxious champ regardless of how hard it is to play as her" That's my response to anyone who hates Riven I'm not defending Riven, and I don't want to hate on anyone who plays her, but. Her kit just makes her really really annoying in the right situations

To the bronze: I don't. To Pros: I don't.

It's an opinion, if someone hates Riven it's their "Problem".

SleepyLionCub3/6/2016, 3:16:53 AM1 votes

if anyone hates riven, no matter the elo. they dont understand how to kite.

SAME, unless they say X stupid reason afterwards. This is for either side.

You hate Riven? You should play more gems you can get more LP.

J Epstein3/6/2016, 5:20:31 PM1 votes

I hate riven in ranked becuase when I play against one, the opposing riven has master level mechanics. When I have one on my team, they play like they are first time riven or AFk after one death. That's why I hate riven.

To bronze: I feel ya. I feel pressured against riven and have no idea how to play against her, nor save my teammates from her.

To Pro: I'm gonna buy her then.

EndlessSorcerer3/8/2016, 2:06:53 AM1 votes

If it's a Bronze player, then they have likely never encountered a competent Riven.

If they are a pro-player, then they have likely seen other play her near her skill-cap.

While I'm not sure how many people agree with me, I don't think changing my response based on the person's experience is "elo-racist".

Similarly, I'd be far more likely to trust medical advice from a licensed and practicing doctor than from someone who failed out of medical school.

In either case I will first jokingly say "get good". If they said it in a manner that makes me think they won't get super salty or rage when losing I'd then invite them to play a game with me.
