@Riot why require essence or shard for mastery 6&7?

blue essence or shard for mastery... unless you're one of the people who own every champion(so dont say it gives them the chance to use blue, I understand that; however, it screws everyone else over)

All this system does encourage people to buy chests until you get enough champion shards to disenchant them all into blue essence to get the level...

also considering you don't get shards every time, and getting your specific shard is 1/130 chance assuming you even get a shard in the first place so e.g. it's impractical to get mastery through unlocking chests in game because you have to play a crap ton of games on champions OTHER than the champion your ranking(which makes no sense other than to encourage buying) to unlock your champion mastery

I just so happened to have multiple champion shards stacked for level 6 (which now I dont get to actually unlock champions with the shards which is unfortunate)

now when I get 2 more S tokens(have 1 already) im going to have to at least 20 games on different(non-Yasuo) champions assuming it takes 2 games each time to get the S on each character(which will probably be more than 2 games considering they're the champions im not good at)... then it takes 10 chest to actually get enough shards to disenchant for the blue essence this suddenly becomes more of a hassle than its worth without buying chest ie money grab :(

this is one of the most scummy business decisions you guys have made((really alienates players who cant dump money into the game)
