If you're talking about LCS champions, I'd recommend using only LCS picks. Riven isn't an LCS pick in most cases.

What about the opposing team?

Riven has been played in a lot of Korean and Chinese games, just not utilized in NA or EU which are most of what people pay attention to.

That would be a good point, but armor is useless against %Max Health True damage. This game would literally just be down to skill, though.

Another thing, team A also has a "weaker" early game, but definetly has the potential to end the game at 20-25min if they're good enough. It's up in the air at 40min.

tank items outscale damage when the damage is of one type only (ad or ap) particularly on someone like Leona whose W shield scales off of armor.

Armor would halp much against yasuo and vaynebut more likely then not they will shut you down well before you have the option to do so

I dont think vayne is that bad OP wise. But i started banning her just cause im sick of seeing her.

Vayne isn't hard to control. Rather, if other people are good enough at supporting her then she becomes real bothersome. Such as in my comp, Condemn knocks a champion back, and Yasuo can ult them before they collide, and the windwall in front of vayne so she can deal damage and not get poke/attacked.

What teams would you create?

If you talk about Platinum, usually people have some degree of knowledge of the champions. Use of one champion at least, because I saw a Plat 3 who I couldn't trade Cho Gath with for Rengar.

What's the team you'd make, considering these bans and only using popular bans and picks? And why?
