The real reason Yasuo is banned so much more in low elo
Because in low elo there is a higher percentage of players that hover his image and select "ban" than at high elos.

Its pretty standard logic. He's a champion that gets as much BS craze because he has no costs, his 'main damage tool' turns into a insane spammer and being the only LITERAL ability that gets extra CDR based on another stat (Attack speed which means he becomes a insane auto carry in the process too), Some champions might have 'crits' to help them on some ends but its nothing as big as an ability that has MANY uses out of it (AoE poke, On hit bonus damage including crits so he's one of those champions who can pull AoE crit dmg, Long range 'capability' with the crit bonus still applying on all targets hit, combo with another ability and of course serving as a rather easy tool for him to 'knock up targets' for his R).
It makes him attractive to 'new players' because of how strong he is able to be with barely any draw backs and no proper 'constraints' in place to make him a proper champion that needs serious practice to work with[Which either leads to people EZ snowballing with him or EZ feeding the enemy team with them if they aren't good with champions in particular]. While 'Vets' can use his free-dom-ish kit to pull alot of things off that most other champions would not be able to pull off as much, Riot finally starting to consider 'nerfs' again to Yasuo is helpful, but it still feels like even if Q will prevent him from 'holding' his stacks as easily, it still needs alot more i believe since he really needs to just be a champion who gets a extremely high skill floor to match his ceiling so his attractiveness is only workable in the hands of extremely skilled players, not just everyone and the floating space cat who just types on the keyboard randomly yet still gets a penta kill.

Did i forget the 'wind shield' that lets him soak initial trade damage and his Wind wall letting him out right negate ALL projectiles and it starts straight from where he is standing so he can't just be point blank nuked without the wall easily killing off the projectile which should have no travel speed since your standing right on top of him? How many non-tanks even get super damage ignores these days? Because i don't count 
in that regard for obvious reasons.
Alot of players in my elo struggle to deal with him in lane so 1v1ing him and possibly hopeing to constantly deny him cs or kill him alot.
Phantom Dancer, dispite his moves getting some nerfs he can still easily beat the crap out of players who make mistakes and let him get too much money.
Alot of people have bad reactions to dealing with his windwall.
I don't have a problem against him if I'm playing as 
Most of these are easy counters in 1v1 or easy counters in team fights while with some ranged champions like tf, vayne, twitch, ezreal... well any adc and ranged mage. You can fake out some attacks and bait the lil weebo to throw his windwall out.
Another reason people ban yasuo is because right now his fanbase are the most toxic to the team. If they don't get yasuo because his allies banned yasuo or enemy team banned or took yasuo. they will start talking shit and it's fucking annoying when they act like this.
They are super overconfident players with a big ego and a tiny penis, they pretty much only play yasuo and just spam their rank 7 all the time... in normals. They think they are really special players when alot of people are just as good of a yasuo player as he/she is.
The Riven fanbase used to be like this but at least Riven was hot af, I love doing my combos in fighting games and she has some of the best skins in the game.
Dawnbringer, Arcade, Dragonblade, Championship Riven are some of my favourite skins in this game.
