Did that once. Had a game with horrible connection for the first half and they were slaughtering us (at 20 minutes we were down 20 to 1). My Vayne ADC (I was support Leona) kept wanting me to...well...Leona the enemy botlane, who had a Morgana. I tried to respond with facts and logic (I don't want to be trapped in her binding until next year!) but, alas. Then we started picking up momentum, evened the gap, and were in their base pushing nexus turrets.
At this point, the Vayne had been flaming me all game, and the enemy team was very nice about defending me and taking me at my word about the connection issues and attempting to play smart and with caution, so I had no particular desire to win. I hadn't felt we earned it, with all the bad sportsmanship coming from the ADC. Anyway, we're in their base, pushing, and we notice they are all about to pop up again, so most of us back off. I was in the middle of my recall when I noticed the Vayne was still trying to push, and was in the midst of being caught. I took a couple of steps, stopped, and resumed recalling. And now for the happy ending....the Vayne died and got her comeuppance.
