This usually happens when people invite everyone on their friend's list so they can get as many players as possible. Doesn't mean they invited you specifically, which would be very strange indeed.
Happens to me all the time. Fastest way to never see them again is to play like shit.
Which why I wonder why Rito placed in that inv a Friend's friend option...
