EDIT: Gonna be honest guys, this is what my support builds typically look like (without the 2 extra liandries). I don't buy sightstone unless its convenient for me. Typically the game is over before my teammates realize I don't have sightstone anyway. ~~Look at my match history for proof of this working~~. Forgot match history doesn't show when you get items. I don't typically get sightstone unless i have a nlr and amp tome in my inventory, or until i finish rylais.

I call it the Support Blue Build. So many actual Support items feel kinda lacklustre if they're not complemented by a 'proper' support kit. I figure if I'm playing something like Karma, Morgana or Zyra I may as well become a pseudo-mage after I finish item 2301 . Especially when the few actual Support abilities that I have still scale fairly heavily off AP.

(Note that it's item 2301 > item 3158 > item 3116 and then the rest of the items for the strongest mid-game.)

Replace the item 2301 with a item 3089

The whole idea is that you're replacing the Deathcap with Eye of the Watchers. If I saw you in a game @ 40 minutes with Deathcap and no Sightstone as support I'd abuse you so hard you quit LoL forever.

Nah bruh, what you need to do is run 20 magic penn in runes (or 14 with 15% cdr lvl 1), thunderlords and these items in this order. item 3020 > item 3116 > item 3151 > item 3135 (or guise before rylais).

This is the busted build that all the zyra mains use because it gives them late game damage early into the game. You can expect to completely one shot their bottom lane at lvl 6 with this setup. People have been building zyra wrong the whole time

Well Zyra already is a pain to melee champs, who usually build resistances, so tanking magic penetration would only make sense.

Shred those ~~pimps~~ fighters/tanks ~~clothes~~ null magic mantles and ~~pin them down~~ apply crowd control for ~~a good time~~ a swift victory.

The tears from their eyes are partly from the unique passive.

Actually kind of true for support Zyra. Since building path is limited to vision item, Zyra has effectively 5 item slots and she gets access to those slots later in the game. By this stage players start building defences, so penetration becomes priority stat, otherwise you'll end up dealing no damage.

Also Zyra has the highest base damage in the game (in this case pure numbers may lie, but she's all about zone control, which means once you fight her in HER garden, you'll eat too much unexpected damage from thornspitters), so she doesn't need that much ap to actually sting.
