Fate/Stay Night exists, but from my experience with it it's not nearly as good as Fate/Zero (the Masters and Servants are more immature, the plot isnt as intruiging, the Servants themselves arent as cool as F/Z's Rider or Berserker or Caster).

There is something involving two teams of 7 Masters and Servants, and one of them involves Vlad the Impaler as Black Team Lancer, which sounds like fun, but I havent checked up on that in ages.

Try Unlimited Blade Works. It's Fate/Stay Night with a different story and a different focus. (I'm half expecting you to tell me you've already watched it) I personally liked it more than Zero, Zero's a bit too violent for my tastes >.>

Honestly he was healthier as a stat-check champion.

Now he's either completely useless or Q+Ws you for like 1.5k damage.

Nah there's way more counterplay and such now. You can actually avoid a lot of his damage now and his damage is a lot more delayed than it used to be.

I'd say, too much. Especially after they mindlessly buffed his damage, instead of reliability.

Before he'd slowly wither you down. Now if you aren't behind minions and outside of his 3rd Q range, you get your health halved in a second, while he heals for a third of his health.

Is the counterplay really worth it?

Well, a major issue I believe the balance team brought up is that he was too reliable and consistent.

Personally, I'd say he's far more interesting to play now, but the recent nerfs are extremely aggravating for me.
