depends on the player. If my mid wants blue and is 3-0 sure why the fuck not lol. If you're 0-3-0 and not doing anything note worthy then I almost always make sure to be present at my blue buff to take it from you with smite ready. some of you will call it low elo thinking. I call it what's better for the team.

There should be exceptions to this rule, though- A blue buff on Swain or Anivia can change a game- their ults cost a lot of mana for a lot of impact. It would probably let them push a tower and apply a lot more pressure than if you had it.

to put it bluntly im not going to give someone i think is already done in lane a buff. I mean if my adc is like 5-0 and wants 2nd red ill hand it over. If he's 0-5 i wonder how the game is still going...now when team fights roll around unless i think you're completely pants on head retarded if i think you'd do the best with the buff cause of your role I'll give it to you.

Now as for your exceptions would you trust a random swain or anivia to have blue buff if they're 0-3 in lane?
