There is. They royally screwed the game up the last season and with Dynamic Queue and lost tons of customer loyalty by just biting the bullet and sticking to Dyn. Queue the entire time. As well as losing a huge chunk of their playerbase to Overwatch.

This is Riot trying to play catch up and earn trust back only when they've given reason to lose it. It's pathetic.
