As long as you aren't dumb with it you'll be fine. Also, at one point he uses it when they are locked in the upright position to stab a dudes shoulder, so it can be useful for that as well.

Why'd I get downvoted O_O. I didn't think saying "He stabs a guy with his lightsaber" constituted as a spoiler in a star wars movie. That's like saying "shit blows up" or "storm troopers die a bunch"
