God i wish they would just revert that change. Even as an adamant Soraka player it just feels plain unfair now...
And with what they've done to her Q i just don't care anymore. I based my entire Soraka style around getting really good at landing perfect Q's and getting the huge damage on ADC's. They've taken all the "skill" out of her skillshot and taken away the best part of the spell...the 150% damage multiplier.

but it does counter all the healing from her Q... and everyone knows you target the Raka first...
But if you put grievous wounds on soraka, she runs out of heals because she can't get her health back...
One can't really blame another for believing that, though. I did, too, at first, but that's because it's not really clear about the difference between healing and self-healing. It would be an easy mistake to think it means Soraka's target can't heal for as much if applied, which is the case of simply "healing", and it reduces heals directed at them. Self-healing is a confusing term in itself, because that could be interpreted to mean the target's own capacity to heal at all.
Having said that, I wouldn't blame someone for not realizing it includes not functioning on the heal's target, and it doesn't work on the healer, either. It doesn't specify that it's the source of the heal, as opposed to the target of the heal.
It's not like old Grievous Wounds caused much of an issue for Soraka in practical use.
-most people don't build it -most ppl who built it got it for high hp regen units (particularly tanks) -most ppl (or a significant amount....don't really trust the general playerbase) afflicted by grievous wound knew to disengage before dying
I feel like I'm losing my mind because of people like that...
