Eh needs more Alucard from Castlevania, and less Mettaton posing.
Vladimir was devised before Mettaton ever was.
Nope, neither Alucard nor Dracula from Castlevania fit him.
They respect his choice in blue hoodies too much to kill him.
... I just realized I have a
IRL .--.
also, can we get this and some other clothing items in the merch store? It would be amazing to wear a
shirt or a
vest :p
I'm putting real spikes on Thornmail.
Does he? I think he's far better at countering assassins.
He is good against both.
His ult and W punish assassins, and his tendency to stack magic resist makes him good against burst mages.
not if they have some MR + QSS and at this point who doesnt build qss ?
Fun fact: Galio's ult taunt is continually re-applied as he channels. He's frantically taunting them through the duration.
Sooo if you qss his ult he'll just taunt you again for the whole duration?
Actually, there's a brief gap between taunts, enough to flash out if you're quick (not unlike qss'ing a knockup to flash away before it ends).
Bronze player here, what's the difference between a burst mage and an assassin?
A burst mage is a ranged, generally immobile AP champion who specializes in killing people in one rotation. Think Veigar, Syndra, Annie, and Viktor.
An assassin is a mobile champion (AD or AP) who specializes in jumping on top of someone and killing them. Most of them are melee, but some (Quinn, Leblanc, Twitch) are ranged.
Mobility. And range, usually. Almost every assassin is melee, while burst mages are ranged.
Assassins' kits are primarily designed to blow up single targets. They may have a skill or two that deals some AOE or may hit multiple targets, but their primary function is to quickly take down a single target (typically a squishy ADC or APC). They usually have some kind of gap closer or way to quickly jump on or sneak up on a target.
Burst mages' kits are designed to use quick spell rotations to blow up their opponents. They tend to have more AOE damage which makes them huge threats in teamfights. Their weaknesses tend to be lack of mobility and lack of sustained damage. If they don't blow up their target(s) after their spell rotation, they are vulnerable to counter engage while their skills are all on cooldown.
