Who is your "Hipster" champion ?

Who or whom are the champions that you play that are not seen in every other game ? Can be for meta reasons or that the champ is just not popular.

Mine are Kennen, Karma and Swain. I just love Karma and everything about her. I find her to be a awesome champ, that brings quite a lot to the table And Kennen and Swain are my mages, I love everything about them and really enjoy playing them, especialy now with assassins and some bruisers coming back, I like to play them a lot.

I like to go Taric into botlane with my friend on Mordekaiser .

Usually goes extremely well. Taric has enough sustain for the both of them and a stun for getting on them. I like to call this lane duo "These boots are made for stomping" or "Pizza feet"

Orianna I hardly ever see her anymore and when I play her, people are surprised when I ultimate combo them into hell, they don't want to League of Legends anymore.

My favourite hipster champ is RekSai , because she's so underground. My actual favourite hipster champ/mains are: Mid: Final Boss Veigar Jungle: Nocturne / Fiddlesticks Top: Kennen ADC: Corki , if anyone (I don't do ADC very often or well but I have the Urfrider Corki skin) Support: TahmKench (Not quite a hipster champ, but a main nonetheless)

No matter how uncommon or "hipster" your champ of choice is, they will either be picked up by a pro and you will see them become popular, or they'll be reworked into a god-awful monster that you no longer like.

Trust me. I play a lot of Cassiopeia , Skarner , Fiora , Viktor , Urgot , and Olaf . They butchered several of my champs already, and I know it's just a matter of time on the others.

any ability powered champ instead of an "adc" and everyone flips the fuck out. bottom is good as balls and his ult makes more sense their than in a solo lane. But NOOOOO its not "meta", ive been playing since season 2 im bored of your "meta"

I continue to look up hipster and continue to not know what it means. The definitions don't make sense to me, if there even is one. I realize I live in a place where they might not exist, but still. (Magic, witchcraft, incense, faeries, seances, that sort of thing is our attraction here, and it's not like Salem, MA, where it's more a tourist attraction than an actual culture thing, it's the real thing, where there are actual in-no-way-ironic signs about how we disapprove of black magic...people think I make this up, but moving on.)

Just gonna read that as "uncommon" champs, not necessarily off-meta.

In no particular order, Taric Evelynn Karthus Singed Zyra .

To a lesser extent, Orianna Diana (jungle) Nocturne Soraka .

I used to be able to say and Skarner before their reworks, very especially the former. People would even comment about how no one plays Mordekaiser anymore, all the time.

People seriously don't seem to remember what Taric does, which makes him a hell of a support. Seriously, I call it the Urgot Effect. They don't get what he does, so he just cleans up hardcore.

Still have a soft spot for Bard , even if he's not really a low-to-mid-elo type.

(but I haven't been playing recently, as I quitted at Patch 5.4 due to Morde gut)

I main (used to main) Mordekaiser , Nasus , Shen , Sona .....

Malzahar used to be hipster but with the item 3116 AoE slow change he's pretty strong now. Unless you're facing a competent team who knows that item 3140 exists.

MonkeyKing isn't easy in that he is vulnerable to dealing zero damage by mid game if you shut him down early. His kit doesn't have strong base damage, it has strong AD scaling which makes him good at dealing damage - which means you need items to deal damage early up to mid unlike, for example, Renekton or Darius . He's not terribly tanky early as well. His passive isn't that great early you risk not dealing much damage (if you want to build damage) until late game.

I simply build wukong semi-glass cannon, the ideal items are Ravenous Hydra, Black Cleaver, Last Whisper and Youmuu's Ghostblade.

Galio and Shen both great ideas with cool mechanics (%MR= ap and healing from marked targets) both can be really useful if timed right in a team fight both could use a VU .__.
