They're an arachnid call harvestmen, if you heard of daddy long legs, that's them.

They're not true spiders just like how ticks and scorpions aren't spiders; people often mistake them for spiders because they look like them but they're separately classified.. Harmless, but occasionally hundreds group up like that gif and it spooks people since hundreds of spider like creatures is enough to scar any arachnophobic. Also I've seen ones the size of a base ball to add to that fear factor.
