With Giphy gifs, if you replace the first media with i, going from https://media.giphy.com to https://i.giphy.com, it removes the play button from your gifs. Why it does this, idk.

So that they have their logo, gui and links within the gif. The reason it is first play button and you have to click it to display it like it is supposed to be is probably thing of Boards doing it with various HTML5-video modules, such as YouTube videos (I think those also must be clicked to use the YouTube interface).

And then there's the ones that screw up, die, then spam mastery emotes. I always feel confused when I see that, like half reflexively triggered, half laughing...
