I've never understood that. She isn't any easier than any other mage, besides maybe Orianna or Vel'Koz. Her abilities are just simple and to the point and not overloaded with a ton of extra bullshit. She's easier to understand, but not really easier to play.

That is a common missunderstanding. Skillshot mages have an easy kit, but have a harder playstyle, not only because you have to hit skillshots, but you have to rely heavily on proper positioning in teamfights and in lane to be successful

She's one of the easiest mid laners.
