To this day, it staggers me that people don't realize how much damage Taric seriously does. Hint: IT'S A LOT. A WHOLE LOT. DEAR GOD IT'S A LOT.
It's like how people occasionally, though much less often now, complain about Karthus' ult, but his Q is what will ruin your day. Or a Bard who gets Thunderlord's and a Frost Queen to send his meep-auto damage (and gold farming, for that matter) completely through the roof. Or people who still don't realize Zyra's unreal poking abilities (step aside, Annie "support") have caused many ff@20's.
While I still would hesitate to call him a proper top-laner, that Spellblade-ish passive of his makes him practically a secondary carry support. Goodness, does he hurt the things he chain-hits with his passive.
